I have been delivering training in Primary Care settings for over 7 years.

Any training can be tailored to suit you. Half-an-hour of telephone discussions and three-hours work on a pre-developed training package is offered free of charge.
Level 2 training (a two day programme) enables attendees to deliver NHS Stop Smoking Support in the community.
Level 2 training for mental health settings includes information on the psychiatric medications affected by smoking and quitting, addresses the risks and benefits associated with quitting and mental health, and provides trainees with tools and techniques to include in treatment sessions to make the intervention more suitable for this client group.
Clients with a Mental Illness: what it means, and how to help (half a day). Suitable for practising level 2 or level 3 advisors, this training informs advisors about issues around psychiatric medications and quitting smoking, looks at the risks and benefits associated with quitting and mental illness, and encourages advisors to be sensitive to the cognitive impairment that clients on some psychiatric medications may present withs
Working the Streets: become a quitter magnet in half a day. Suitable for people with no previous knowledge or experience, this informative training enables participants to understand CO monitoring, have interesting anecdotes about people who have quit with NHS stop smoking services, feel enthusiastic about stopping smoking, and have an effective engagement technique.
